

Copmanthorpe, York
The proposed extensions will create an additional bedroom to the front of the existing bungalow with an extensively-glazed open-plan living space to the rear with a ‘floating’ mezzanine level and spiral stair providing access to a loft space conversion. The project received planning approval from York City Council in February 2011 - we are currently working with the client and other consultants to prepare a fully detailed package of construction drawings.

Ward Green, Barnsley
DMS Architecture carried out architectural inspections and certification of the construction works at Wigfield Drive, Ward Green. The project involved the construction of a single-storey dwelling on a formerly derelict site within a residential area. The construction work completed in May 2010.

Mitcham, London
DMS Architecture is working closely with the contractor to deliver a mixed-use social housing project for fourteen apartments and two commercial units at Streatham Road, Mitcham, arranged over four floors. The project is currently on site, and has a variety of standards to achieve including Code for Sustainable Homes (Level 3), Lifetime Homes and Design Quality Indicators.

Holmfirth, Huddersfield
Full planning permission has been achieved for a pharmacy extension, following extensive pre-application consultation. The proposed design complements and is in keeping with the design of the existing health centre, minimising its visual impact. The proposal provides an extension to the practice’s current dispensary facilities, with increased opening hours and services being offered.
