Construction work for a residential extension and internal alterations continues on site in Copmanthorpe, York
December 2011
Following the commencement of construction work in August 2011, masonry and roofing works for the front and rear extensions have completed. The internal alterations to the existing bungalow are also progressing well. DMS Architecture are undertaking inspections and certification of the construction works, working closely with the client, quantity surveyor (Gardiner & Theobold) and contractor, ADH Construction Project Management Ltd.
Construction work continues on four new-build dwellings at Carlton Road, Barnsley
November 2011
Following the commencement of construction work at the start of 2011, Plots 1 and 2 have recently completed. Construction of Plot 3 has progressed well, with the building now watertight and internal finishes progressing. Construction of Plot 4 is due to commence early in 2012. DMS Architecture are undertaking inspections and certification of the construction works, working closely with the client and contractor, M&J Building & Joinery Services Ltd.
Revisions to 3D Visualisation of National Station Improvement Programme, Leicester Station
September 2011
DMS Architecture have prepared updated 3D images of the proposed railway station improvement works at Leicester Station, following revisions to the original scheme. The proposed works include the redevelopment and refurbishment of the Porte Cochere to provide improved car parking, retail and pedestrian access to the station.
Construction completed on 14 apartments and commercial units at Streatham Road, Mitcham, London
August 2011
Construction work on a mixed-use social housing project for 14 apartments and two commercial units at Streatham Road, Mitcham, has completed. DMS Architecture worked closely with the contractor, ADH Construction Project Management, to ensure that the various requirements for the project, including Code for Sustainable Homes (Level 3), Lifetime Homes and Design Quality Indicators; were achieved.
