Single Storey Side/Rear Extension
A wide variety of changes can be made to your home without the need to apply for planning permission – under ‘Permitted Development Rights’ the majority of homes are allowed to construct extensions, loft conversions and conservatories (and various other works) as long as they comply with Government set guidelines. Our small projects team have a wide variety of experience working within these guidelines and will guide you through the process.
Two Storey Extension/Other Domestic Works
Any works to your home that are not allowed under ‘Permitted Development Rights’ require a planning application to be submitted to your Local Planning Authority. Our small projects team have successfully obtained planning permission for a wide variety of extensions and other works, and have excellent working relationships with local planning departments
Building Regulation Compliance Drawings
Almost all construction works require approval under Building Regulations – a set of standards produced by the Government that regulate how buildings and other works are constructed. The Building Regulations cover elements such as structure, energy efficiency, fire safety and accessibility. Our architects, technicians and technologists have a wide range of knowledge and experience working with the Building Regulations and Building Control Inspectors across different sectors – from small residential extensions through to multi-million pound new-build projects.
