Construction Work for a residential extension and internal alterations completes in Copmanthorpe, York
March 2012
Following commencement on site in August 2011, the extension and internal alterations to a bungalow in Copmanthorpe have completed. DMS Architecture provided full architectural services on the project, from initial sketch designs through to the on-site inspections and certification of the construction works. The extensions create an additional bedroom to the front of the existing property with an extensively-glazed open-plan living space to the rear - including a ‘floating’ mezzanine level and spiral stair providing access to a loft space conversion. We worked closely with the client, quantity surveyor (Gardiner & Theobold) and contractor, ADH Construction Project Management Ltd to ensure a sucessful completion of the project.
Construction work completes on Plots 1 & 2 at Carlton Road, Barnsley
March 2012
Following commencement on site at the start of 2011, the construction work on Plots 1 and 2 have recently completed. Construction of Plot 3 has progressed well, with the building now watertight and internal finishes progressing. Construction of Plot 4 is due to commence later in 2012. DMS Architecture are undertaking inspections and certification of the construction works, working closely with the client and contractor, M&J Building & Joinery Services Ltd.
Revisions to 3D Visualisation of National Station Improvement Programme, Leicester Station

DMS Architecture have prepared updated 3D images of the proposed railway station improvement works at Leicester Station, following revisions to the original scheme. The proposed works include the redevelopment and refurbishment of the Porte Cochere to provide improved car parking, retail and pedestrian access to the station.
Construction completed on 14 apartments and commercial units at Streatham Road, Mitcham, London
August 2011
Construction work on a mixed-use social housing project for 14 apartments and two commercial units at Streatham Road, Mitcham, has completed. DMS Architecture worked closely with the contractor, ADH Construction Project Management, to ensure that the various requirements for the project, including Code for Sustainable Homes (Level 3), Lifetime Homes and Design Quality Indicators; were achieved.
